Supporter Registration
This page describes how information is used when you register or update your VRChat username for supporter benefits.
Information collected
Registration may use your VRChat username, the email address associated with a contribution, verification information, and the status of an eligible Ko-fi purchase or Patreon membership. When you sign in with Google, we use the verified email address returned by Google to check contribution eligibility. When you sign in with Patreon, we use the information needed to confirm an eligible membership.
How information is used
Registration information is used to verify supporter eligibility, prevent duplicate claims, associate benefits with your VRChat username, allow verified changes to your registered username, and administer supporter rewards across supported VRChat worlds.
Storage and services
Registration records are processed using Amazon Web Services. Authentication and contribution verification may involve Google, Patreon, or Ko-fi, depending on the registration method you choose. Those services have their own privacy policies.
Retention and requests
Registration records may be retained as needed to administer supporter benefits and prevent duplicate claims. You can contact us to ask about your information or request its deletion. Some minimal records may need to be retained to prevent duplicate redemptions.
